RMIT School of Art -international Artist in Residence program
2016 CALL FOR PROPOSALS
RMIT iAIR is currently calling for applications for the 2016 Taiwanese Arts Residency.
Artists, researchers and curators from the School community are invited to make application to this residency. To be eligible, candidates must provide documentation demonstrating they are linked to one of the following groups:
- RMIT School of Art alumni of the PhD, DFA, MA, MFA or BA Honours programs
- RMIT School of Art students enrolled in a PhD, MA, MFA program or BA Honours program
- RMIT School of Art fixed-term and casual staff currently working in Higher Education or VE
The successful candidate will be invited to undertake a residency up to four weeks between September and October 2016. As a component of the exchange, Melbourne-based successful candidates will also be expected to present a talk on their practice or research at RMIT.
The residency is generously support with an economy class roundtrip ticket to Taipei and a stipend. All freight costs and insurance are the responsibility of the artist. This exchange will support applications to other funding and grant bodies.
Applications must be received by Friday 13 November 2015.
