Pamela Golbin Lecture

Pamela Golbin, Chief Curator, 20th Century Collections, Fashion and Textiles, Musée des Arts Décoratifs will present a public lecture on her current exhibition, Fashion Icons at the Art Gallery of South Australia. The lecture will be followed by a Q&A with journalist Rachelle Unreich.

Fashion Icons presents 100 key couture garments that document the history of fashion over the past eight decades and includes the work of Balenciaga, Chanel, Comme des Garçons, Dolce and Gabbana, Givenchy, Lagerfeld, McQueen, Mugler, Gaultier and Lacroix. The Fashion Icons exhibition (25 October 2014 - 15 February 2015) has been organised by Musee des Arts Decoratifs, Paris in association with Arts Exhibitions Australia and the Art Gallery of South Australia.
