Living Architectures

Cult figures in the contemporary architecture world, Paris-based filmmakers Ila Bêka and Louise Lemoine have developed a new cinematographic approach to architecture. Lively, provocative and thoroughly delightful, it lets architecture talk to us from a point of view that is personal and subjectove, rather than removed and analytical.

Living Architectures is a series of seven films that examine materpieces of contemporary architecture- from Koolhaas’s Bordeaux villa to Gehry’s Guggenheim Museum Bilbao - from a unique humanistic perspective, bringing us into the point of view of the people who actually use or maintain them every day, from grumpy housekeepers to glass cleaners.
