Experimental Jetset – Superstructure is the first major retrospective of work by globally renowned graphic design studio Experimental Jetset.

Based in Amsterdam, Experimental Jetset was founded in 1997 by Marieke Stolk, Erwin Brinkers and Danny van den Dungen. Superstructure brings the studio’s ideas-driven, socially engaged practice to life in an exhibition conceived as a journey through four quarters of an imaginary city representing four conditions: The Constructivist City, The Situationist City, The Provotarian City and the Post-Punk City.

A free exhibition, Experimental Jetset – Superstructure is presented by RMIT Design Hub in collaboration with the National Gallery of Victoria and will launch as part of Melbourne Design Week. Experimental Jetset will be the keynote presenters at the Melbourne Art Book Fair on 15 March at the NGV.

Experimental Jetset – Superstructure is conceived and designed by Experimental Jetset, Netherlands.

Curatorium: Brad Haylock, Kate Rhodes, Fleur Watson (RMIT University); Megan Patty (National Gallery of Victoria).
