Design Hub in slow motion

Design Hub has been many years in the making. This time-lapse video produced by RMIT’s media team shows this impressive building coming to life. Design Hub is primarily made of glass, concrete, steel and black rubber. Design Hub is an environmentally smart building. A high-performance skin of 17,000 semi-translucent, sandblasted glass cells deliver energy efficiency and a high quality indoor atmosphere. More than 1700sqm of space at Design Hub is dedicated to exhibitions and display. In addition, a forecourt that links the Design Hub and the Design Archives is also home to creative programming.
