Catan-QuickStartAR Testing Session
Naman Thakar is currently undertaking his PhD at RMIT and is seeking volunteers to assist in the testing of his project, Catan-QuickStartAR. This software prototype system enables new players to grasp the basics of a board game while playing their first game. Using Augmented Reality technology (AR), the system will help the new player learn the rules of a board game, and develop a basic strategy. The goal is to test how the Catan-QuickStartAR supports new players in place of traditional methods of learning the game: by reading the manual, asking other players, or playing several game sessions.
Volunteers are required to participate in a 2-hour testing session on one of the below dates. Participation in the session will be anonymous and refreshments will be provided.
