BLOOM Charette at MPavilion
RMIT Design Hub invited Melbourne design practices ARM Architecture, Assemble, Edwards Moore and Sibling to work with Alisa Andrasek and Jose Sanchez’s project BLOOM, in an intensive charette at MPavilion on Tuesday 27 January.
Conceived as a collective building experience and using a game-like logic, the bright pink BLOOM components encourage collaborative play. Invited studios each worked to design and build a structure or sculpture with the BLOOM pieces.
BLOOM was recently exhibited at the RMIT Design Hub as part of London Design Museum’s touring exhibition, The Future is Here.
BLOOM is designed and developed by Alisa Andrasek and Jose Sanchez, from the Bartlett School of Architecture at UCL.
